Wooden Toothbrushes
Sustainability: Welcome

first..why does it matter?

Building a sustainable life is important because it's your contribution to help save and respect the earth. It's no secret that the earth is struggling as global warming worsens, natural disasters become more frequent, and resources we have over used start depleting. Have we gotten to the point where it's too late? The answer is no, right now our actions DO MATTER and if everyone does these little contributions of consciousness, we will make an impact.
(Of course big corporations need and can make the biggest changes.)

Tips!

  1. Be conscious about your consumption:) Use what you already have before purchasing more.

  2. Try to REDUCE before all else. ("Do I really need this?")

  3. Recycle and reuse whatever you can.

My Personal Mission

With becoming conscious of how my consumption affects the earth, my mission is to be as sustainable as I can. I buy local, support small businesses and ethical companies before all else. Of course not all products I need are available at these places, this leads to the occasional Walmart and Amazon buy.  I often sense myself feeling guilty when I support these unethical corporations. This is the time I have to remind myself THAT IT'S OKAY. Having a completely sustainable life is nearly impossible, what is important is we stay CONSCIOUS and do our best with what we can. That is why my mission is to stay aware and kind to the earth, but remember to not hold myself to impossible standards. 🤍:) Thank you for exploring my page, feel free to reach out with any questions!
