i remember sitting there with you

talking about the mountains and nature that surrounded us

we felt minuscule amongst the stature of the boulders

yet significant to each other

i watched you as you breathed in the beauty of the view

eating oranges and cherries we sat

existing

and living

just you, me, with orange peels and cherry pits

breathing in the valley of beauty
